About Us

Built by Carroll families, for Carroll students.

We are the PTA for Carroll Elementary School in Elk Grove — a volunteer team that turns parent energy into events, classroom support, and a stronger school community.

Who We Are

Carroll Elementary PTA is a partnership among parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff. We exist to enrich student life at Carroll: family festivals, fundraisers like the Fun Run and shred events, teacher appreciation, and the everyday extras that help classrooms thrive.

We are a local unit of California State PTA and National PTA. That means your membership supports Comets here at school and adds to a statewide and national voice for children. Meetings are open, decisions are made together, and there is a place for every kind of involvement — from joining for $10 to serving on the board.

Carroll is a year-round campus serving Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade. Whatever track your student is on, you are part of this community.

Interested in Becoming a Board Member?

The board is a small group of parents who plan the year, keep the books, and partner with school leadership. You do not need PTA experience. You need curiosity, follow-through, and a little time each month.

  • • Elections are usually held in the spring for the following school year.
  • • We welcome interest year-round, including for open officer roles.
  • • Coming to an association meeting is the easiest first step.

Ready to talk?

Email the current board and we will walk you through the roles.

I will have a 4th grader and Kindergartner this year! This is my 4th year on the PTA Board at Carroll. Being a part of the magic at Carroll keeps me coming back. I truly believe these kids will brighten our future and I feel excited to be a part of the community.

I have been a part of the Carroll Community since 2008. I started as a Teacher's Aide at Champions and now I am the Secretary at Carroll. I have been an active PTA member for 11 years and have served on the PTA board for 6+ years. I am looking forward to bringing some new events to the PTA this year and to continuing to support the school, staff, and families.

I was a Special Education teacher with Lodi Unified for seven years, where I worked with high school students with emotional disabilities. More recently, I've been a full-time mom to my three kids—two at Carroll and one at TJM. Over the past year, I've had the opportunity to support Carroll in a variety of roles, and I'm excited to be part of our PTA and help make a positive impact for our school community!

I’m a proud parent with one child at here at Carroll and another in the district. This is my 3rd year serving on the PTA board. I bring strong organization, positive energy, and a collaborative spirit to support communication and help strengthen the connection between families and staff. I look forward to working together to make this a fun, inclusive, and impactful.

I grew up in southern California and moved to Davis, where I met my wife. We moved to Elk Grove afterwards and now spend our time shuttling our fourth grader to birthday parties and extracurriculars.
